Some Good Reasons For Choosing Vaser Lipo Over Other Techniques

There is a modern type of Liposuction called 'Vaser Lipo' that is getting a lot of very good press. It has been available as an alternative to former methods for about eight years. The popularity of this technique is growing rapidly in places all around the world. More and more people who want to undergo cosmetic surgery are choosing it above other procedures that are currently available. Why is this? What is it about Vaser Lipo that makes it preferable over other techniques?

Well, there are several good reasons. First of all you need to know that Vaser Lipo is totally and utterly different to traditional Liposuction. In actual fact, it is revolutionary in the realms of cosmetic surgery. The way that it actually works is unique. If you are going to have this type of procedure then there is absolutely no need to have a general anesthetic. The technique only requires the use of a local anesthetic. That is one good reason straight away, as there are far less risks involved. With the use of a general anesthetic there are always some risks, no matter how low. Another reason, which is also the explanation behind the first one, is that the procedure is 'minimally invasive'. Gone are the days of vast amounts of pipe-work literally sucking fat out from the body. The procedure works by bombarding fatty matter with sonic waves.

The fatty matter is actually liquefied by these waves and is then removed from the body through tiny cannulae. This method is extremely efficient and it is not at all unusual for two litres of fat to be removed from a person in a single session. There is no need for the use of scalpels or similar instruments and the cannulae are so tiny that the patient will not need any stitching after the operation. Due to the way that the technique works it is highly unlikely that the patient will emerge from the operation with anything more than some minor bruising and discomfort for a few days. Again, this is a very different outcome when it is compared to the traditional process of Liposuction which was actually well known to leave you black and blue and in a lot of pain. There will also be far less tiredness experienced by the patient afterwards, unlike previous methods of cosmetic surgery.

It is not just patients who are opting for Vaser Lipo rather than other treatments. Lots of physicians from all around the world are praising the procedure for its natural looking results, low risk to patients and good results with skin tightening. Many surgeons say that they find it an easier method to work with rather than other approaches to fat removal. As the Vaser Lipo technique uses sound waves to liquefy fatty matter, it results in a much improved upon accuracy.

Since 2001 there has been somewhere in the region of 100,000 Vaser Lipo operations in several different countries.

Consider the Other Smart Lipo Cost

If you've been looking at cosmetic surgeries as a way to fix that one area that you've got on your body that neither exercise nor diet seems to be able to sculpt properly, then you've probably seen more than your fair share of options, everything from traditional liposuction to more advanced versions. And, given the fact that everyone is watching their money these days, you could be considering whether or not you really need or even want the surgery in the first place. In fact, before you make a decision, you'll want to think about more than just the monetary cost of smart lipo.

You might be wondering exactly what I mean by this. After all, isn't the cost the main consideration of whether or not to get the surgery done in the first place? True, cost can be a large factor but there are other intangible things you may want to consider as well, beyond the smart lipo cost. consider for a moment that with this form of liposuction, you can effectively get areas that would otherwise be quite tricky to do with more precision and therefore get everything all at once, rather than in bits. Something else to consider, especially where smart lipo is concerned is that the ability to get more and more difficult areas will ensures that you would only have to do this the one time, which will not only make your pocketbook happy but also you yourself, as this means you can get on with your life as the recovery time is faster.

That said, the benefits above alone should be taken into account when considering the smart lipo cost. but there is also something else to think about and that is the "cost" of not getting it done. Now, if the area in question is small or only seen by you (and perhaps your significant other), then you may be wondering exactly what this means. Often, though other people may not notice a particular scar, or some other physical imperfection (such as fatty cells), we do and that is because we see it reflected in the mirror each morning. So you may want to consider the long term mental and emotional benefit of spending the cash to have the surgery. In essence, ask yourself if the small smart lipo cost is worth being able to look into the mirror and be truly happy with what you see.

Is LAL Better Than Other Forms of Liposuction?

Laser assisted liposuction (LAL, also known as laser lipectomy) is a growing surgical procedure. It is one of the more recently developed forms of liposuction, having first been approved by the FDA in 2006. Before coming to America, laser lipectomy was developed and popularized in Europe and Asia. Since its introduction inside the United States, LAL has grown in popularity among Americans.

Laser lipectomy uses a surgical laser to assist in the removal of fat. A surgeon uses the laser to break up the fat before the fat is suctioned out. This makes it easier for the surgeon and easier on the patient. The surgical lasers used in laser liposuction can specifically target certain sorts of tissues. This means that the laser can shine through skin and other tissues without affecting them, while still making the removal of fat simpler and easier.

A number of different companies inside the United States have developed different lasers to assist in LAL. Some of the more common include SmartLipo, ProLipo, CoolLipo, LipoLite, and LipoTherme. Surgery varies somewhat depending on which laser is used. The different lasers use slightly different technology; among other things, the lasers vary in intensity and frequency. However, the principles underlying all of these different forms of laser liposuction are the same.

Research has noted a number of benefits to choosing laser assisted liposuction over traditional lipoplasty techniques. Because surgical lasers melt fat rather than just scraping it loose, laser lipectomy tends to be much less intrusive than traditional methods. LAL's lasers also help it to be more gentle in additional ways: all forms of liposuction use hollow, blunt tubes called cannulas to suction away excess fat, but the cannulas used in laser liposuction are frequently much smaller than traditional cannulas. Smaller cannulas means smaller incisions and less wear and tear on the body.

Due in part to this LAL is often easier to recover from than traditional liposuction. Patients can frequently be back on their feet in just a day or two, and they often experience less pain and bruising.

One final advantage of laser liposuction is that research has shown that some lasers can help to produce collagen and tighten skin in the target area. For some people this can be very helpful, as one of the common problems associated with liposuction is excess or loose skin.

However, laser liposuction is not without disadvantages. For one thing, it does tend to be more expensive than traditional liposuction. Although it varies from doctor to doctor, LAL does utilize more advanced technology than traditional methods, and it does tend to be substantially more expensive. Some people find, though, that the extra money spent is well worth it.

One further disadvantage to laser lipectomy is that it tends to be better for smaller areas. While this makes it great for targeting areas that require a more delicate touch such as the area surrounding the face, it does make it make it worse at removing large quantities of fat.

If you'd like to know more about LAL and liposuction in general, please consider meeting with a surgeon in your area for a free consultation. Your doctor can help you to know whether or not you would be a good fit for liposuction, and vice-versa.
