One of the deadly diseases known to the man kind is cancer. Cancer is as its name suggests is evil which cause threat and spoils the functioning of all the parts of the body and finally giving a very painful death. There are various kinds of cancer like lung cancer, blood cancer, breast cancer, and many others. More than thousands of cases of these cancers are recorded in the world. One of the common cancers is that of malignant mesothelioma. This is not that commonly found but it is one of the most painful and hazardous kind of cancer.
There are generally three forms of mesothelioma that occurs in lungs, heart and abdomen. Out of all these the most common one is that of lungs. The mesothelioma that occurs in lungs is called as pleural malignant mesothelioma. There are generally three modes of treatments given for mesothelioma like Surgery, under which the doctors remove the cancer through operating the affected cancerous part. Other treatment is chemotherapy under which the drugs are given which can help the patient to get rid of the cancer. The third and the last one being radiation therapy, under which high X-rays and other radiations are passed to the affected part to kills the cancerous cells.
Mesothelioma of any kinds is malignant in nature and has recently been identified as a kind of caner itself. It appears in one part of the body as a cancerous tumor and later on spreads to near body organs and tissues. Initially the non cancerous growths like fibrous cysts were considered as mesothelioma but now it has been discovered that mesothelioma is one kind of malignant cancer.
